Our Story
Worlds collided in 2017 when Angela (Nicole's friend & coworker) and Ryan (Matt's best friend) invited us both to Philadelphia to celebrate their joint bachelor/bachelorette party. They secretly wondered if we might hit it off and I guess friends do know best. It was an instant connection, complete with a weekend-ending, movie-esque “run after the girl heading to the cab” moment. We never looked back.
For the next two years, we kept up a long-distance relationship from NYC to Boston. Waiting on the days and weeks to tick by until we could be together again. To us, memories of falling in love are interwoven with the sights and sounds of New York City. From glass clinks at dimly lit Brooklyn cocktails bars to timing conversations in between the continuous subway screeches over the Manhattan Bridge to the surprising stillness we found uptown lost in Central Park. We're grateful for New York.
In 2019, Nicole moved back to Boston and we got a place together. The pandemic hit quickly after and we still liked each other (phew!). So much so, that Matt took Nicole (and our besties) back to NYC in September 2021 to propose in the city where we fell in love.
Now let’s party!
